Making MORE Friends: Developing a Community Supported Agriculture Project

MG Road, Bangalore. We stumbled upon interesting local street art on community involvement

This past Monday evening, Victoria and I met with a couple of young activists linked to the organizations Wiser Bangalore and Heal the Soil, a local organization that provides seeds and permaculture training to their community. They talked about their experience with local non- profit organizations in Bangalore and beyond. It was a good break from work, we had a great time and learned lots about their work. I look forward to collaborating with them as I hope to start a kitchen garden with the children in our community. Heal the Soil has offered to host us in their farm next week. We will visit their farm in Pondicheri to learn from their Community Supported Agriculture model and to see other NGOs doing similar social work.
