A huge THANK YOU is due to all who supported Profugo’s programs and development efforts in 2013!  We are grateful for all our interns, volunteers, board members, mentors, donors, and friends who supported us in ways that we could not have fathomed.  You helped us to grow where we were weak, you encouraged us when we needed that extra push, you supported us when we wanted to affect positive change in Wayanad, India.  We may be a young volunteer organization, but we are definitely strong in talent, manpower, and commitment.

A SPECIAL THANKS to Women in Leadership of Greater Philadelphia who provided us with an Empowerment Grant for the second year in a row, Villanova University ‘s various groups (EWB, BWB, and Professor Hezekiah Lewis’ Social Documentary class), University of Virginia’s SEED group, and of course the mighty 2nd grade class at Saint Mary School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.  These young students designed and created beaded Christmas ornaments that they sold at the parish Holly Fair where they raised $710 for Profugo’s Health and Wellness initiatives.  WOW – we are moved to know that we have global neighbors in all shapes and sizes.

THANK YOU + HAPPY 2014 from the PROFUGO TEAM!!
