The efforts of the Business Development Center will be centered on the equipping of individuals and increasing the productivity of their businesses. These efforts may include skills training, language training and leadership training.

Creating and Managing Profugo Owned Businesses

The Business Development center will continually look for opportunities to launch new businesses. These businesses may include the following:
  • Agriculture
  • Dairy Farming
  • Garments and Clothing
  • Hospitality (Resorts, Guest Houses, etc.)

Profugo owned businesses will employ individuals from the local population and generate revenue to fund the overall development efforts.

Business Incubation

The Business Development Center will also incubate start-up businesses operated by individuals from the local population. Incubation functions performed by the center will include:
  • Business Plan Development
  • Help Raise Capital
  • Help Staff the Start-Up
  • Provide Managerial and Administrative Advice
  • Run Relevant Workshops and Training
The Business Development Center will function as a supportive organization to the Micro-Finance center. Individuals can be recommended by the Business Development Center for loans after they have successfully completed required training, etc.
